How long does it take to get this fixed after each patch? trying not to be rude about it just ansy to play with the new stuff added to the game.
I am trying to run MoO of the D drive .My C drive is a SSD and only has windows on it .
Seriously get this fixed
If I go back to the 42.8 version , It works . But if I hit exit from the first screen with the planet it will do the same thing except it has music .
Can any of you try the following:

Back up your saved games.

Uninstall the game.

Reinstall using the newest offline installer or installing via Galaxy.

Please let me know if a fresh install helps.

I have totally deleted the MoO file and had it make a new one with the installer . It still wont load the overlay to let you continue , start new game or exit . Its just the planet slowly spinning around . It doesn't have the beta stuff at top right corner or link WG account info in right lower corner either .

Where do I get the ' offline ' installer to try that ?

You can download the offline installer via Galaxy by clicking on "More" and then clicking on "Get Backup & Extras" when you are on the game's page in Galaxy.

You can also click on "Account" and then "Library" on the bar at the top of every page on GOG.com, click on Master of Orion's box on your shelf and download the offline installer via your browser :)

The send me the following:

Your DxDiag

Your output_txt.log for master of Orion

And a brief description as to what is happening to you.

You can send me links to your DxDiag and output_log.txt via PM so as to not have them all public :)

I find it slightly sad there seems to be no reply or comment on my posts where i did this and found a few issues, but I will reposta summery of my posts.

***

Issue is this, the game will not give sound or the menu from the opening title screen with the planet, animation of the background is active.

Updated my video card drivers Nvida to latest version 364.72, no fix.

This install was my first time unistalling then reinstalling, as I saw another post where someone said they had issues that where fixed by doing that.

So I uninstalled once more and reinstalled from 2.6.0.13 and same issue.

So I uninstalled that and reinstalled from 2.0.0.5 and I noticed something,
the EULA poped up after installing on first run of the game, it dose not in 2.6.0.13, so I installed over 2.0.05 version which was running fine with 2.5.0.11 and it ran as well *BUT* on exiting the game it goes to the menu screen with no sound and no menu just he planet as a background, so that was a slight improvement, but Installing over 2.5.0.11 working version with 2.6.0.13 does not get 2.6.0.13 working..

Found this line in gogolog.ini right at the bottom of the file..

D170=C:\Master of Orion\C:\Master of Orion\

changed it to just D170=C:\Master of Orion\ as that double filepath looks like a corruption of some sort, no fix but the game has put the line back that way.

Running Win10 64bit Pro, on a SSD with a Duel monitor, also I posted submitting a bug, this game will not run in full screen on a second monitor, only on the primary, but no one replied to taht post :(
