Never tried this game before and i must say its better then i expected, before i know it it is 3 am but im stuck atm, Im playing chaos mage or something atm and wiped most of the enemies and i discovered all of the map but there is a blue cpu that keeps getting some of my towns and creatring new ones but cant find him on the map he or shes a lizars then i noticed that there is another plane, does anyone know how i get there? I think hes hiding there btw i summoned a dragon and i think hes very powerful since i win most battles with it a grand dragon if im correct.
In MoM there are two worlds, Arcanus and Myrror (all wizards start on Arcanus, unless they have the starting trait Myrran). To move between the two planes you need to move a stack of units onto a tower (looks like a green tower on the map) then toggle the Plane button (located in the upper right of the interface). There's also a spell that that can be cast on units that allows them to move between the planes at will, without having to be on a tower. It should also be noted that travel between the two planes can also be prevented if the spell Planar Seal is cast (you'll have to use Disjunction to remove the Planar Seal before being able to travel between planes again).
There's two spell if I remember correctly, one is Planar Travel, a maintainable unit enchantment that allows a unit to travel between planes at will, and also Plane Shift that can be cast on a stack to instantly move that stack into the other plane (Arcanus->Myrror and vice versa).

Oh, but both is a 'Life' spell, so if you're playing as chaos, you probably won't get it :D
thanks i will try it
Once you've gotten access to the other plane, try to research and cast a spell called "Awareness". It reveals the locations of all cities. Pretty handy for zeroing in on an elusive AI.

I think I will just add if the Wizard on Myyror has cast planer seal you may have to research and cast disjunction to access the other plane.
thanks m8 im glad i get a lot of advise here im glad this game is still populair
Yep, MoM is still one of my favorite strategy games, almost 15 years later. I just got back into it this week, and finished up two rounds as a Runemaster / Artificer / Archmage - one as nature / chaos / life, the other nature / chaos / death. It's a somewhat cheaty combo, since it lets you craft artifacts for your heroes for so cheap, but I love to run around with a gang of incredibly well equipped heroes. In the second game, I didn;t even use normal military units for anything beyond town garrisons to keep down unrest levels. I mostly choose my spell books for what abilities they will allow me to craft into my artifacts - 3 nature, for example, can let any hero have pathfinding to get around over twice as fast, and waterwalking to explore islands.

More on topic, those Great Drakes you summoned are among the strongest units in the game. Once you conquer one of the crumbly, greenish towers, you will be able to plane-shift through them to Myrror, and unleash flying doom on S'ssra's bases.

Myrror is a very cool place; it doesn't look like much, but all the roads there are automatically enchanted (0 move points to go down them), and home to some very powerful new races like the Trolls, which can be nigh unkillable with their regeneration, and the Dwarves, which generate double income from all sources and have incredibly powerful infantry. Also, the ruins and nodes there tend to be more heavily guarded than in Arcanus, though that's not guaranteed. I played a match where the first 6 or 7 nodes I came across (still on Arcanus) were all guarded by Great Wyrms and Sky Drakes. Not fun.
it is and i like some of the wizards even if i dont know what they can like merlin
