I don't think it was ever there for this game. I think you may be mixing it up with another game as no where does it say anything about working on Macs and it usually would if they had ever included an osx installer.

I've only played it on the Mac, so it was definitely there. But it's been removed now.. I'm sure I have a backup copy made somewhere so I will find it.

Just because you played it previously on a Mac does not mean that they provided you the installer. Of course I am not saying that they didn't provide an installer just that it is highly unlikely as they would have advertised the fact as it would make the game more buyable for a lot of ppl.

I can confirm that there was a mac installer here on gog.

I'd appritiate an OS X version as well sicne I don't have any Windows or Linux machine available right now :(

I'm pretty sure you can run it with the OSX version of DOS Box, or one of the DOS Box front ends for OSX.

I'm not going to give you exact instructions, but it shouldn't be hard to set it up with a little diligence.

I know I can. I also know what I can download pretty much every game made in existence for free and make some of them work on Mac. Easily. But I paid my money for convenience. I have no Windows or Linux and every game I buy here I intend to run on Mac. So?

^Never mind! Got it to work by using Wineskin to open the GOG installer, then ran the folder in Boxer.

I'm shocked that we still don't have the OSX support back on this title. It's also hard to believe I can get Master of Orion 1 & 2 to run but Master of Magic is somehow an issue? If there is a technical or licensing reason for the OSX support removed, is it too much to ask that we get an answer as to why? I've been checking this thread on and off for months with no response.

I've never wanted to hand my money over anymore than for this game- but not if I can't actually play it.
