I am having trouble with the game being very dark, too dark to play, I can't see very much. I tried all the setting in the graphic config file. I had this problem with another game and used the openGL setting to fix it. that's not working with MoM. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you post a screenshot? The world of Myrror is very dark (though not too dark to play).

Yep. I can confidently say that isn't just Myrror being Myrror.

Check your monitor settings, maybe? I had an issue with another game once, where the darker areas were completely black; ultimately it turned out that my monitor was the culprit.

If you've already been through all of the dos box settings, then I would recommend trying a fresh install (to see if maybe you get lucky). If that fails too, I'd contact Support. Be advised that Support may take a few days to get back to you; they are likely swamped because of the sale.

Yeah, reinstalling it didn't work. Making monitor adjustments is out. The utility for that doesn't work, and since it's an LG monitor tech support is not possible. I did try making adjustments with video card app, that didn't do much. So it looks like it's on to Gog tech support. Thanks for your help.

Did you just reinstalled Windows perhaps? I mean maybe it is not a game problem but drivers. Crap like that happens sometimes when you install Intel drivers for integrated cards.

Ah sorry. Did not saw it was two months ago. I did not sleep at night. But perhaps it will help somebody else if not you.

Actually the problem turned out to be I was using an old version of the game that I thought i had updated.
