I got the game from Prime Gaming, downloaded from Galaxy
Achievements are not working .. tried "Verify / Repair" didn't help, disabled the game launcher also didn't help
Googled and it looks like it works fine for some players and not for others.

After looking into this, I see the appropriate team has been notified of the issue. While I won't be able to provide updates on this report, I appreciate you reaching out to us to make sure we know about it.

Please keep in mind that the Classic trophy specifically will not unlock if the difficulty settings have been changed during the Storyline.

Same problem there, just started playing today and nothing happen

Same here. I've played for 3-4 hours and I've got 0 cheevos.

I have the same problem. I even posted on "List of broken GOG Achievements" topic and another two users confirmed that Mafia achievements don't work.

I had this problem, the solution I found was to install an old version of Gog Galaxy, I tested it with the new launcher, and the achievements started to appear as I completed the requirements, the missions I had already done in story mode with the new launcher, they didn't complete it, only at the point where I did with the old launcher.

If it's a bug with galaxy it would be best to report it on GOG support and let them know that it works on galaxy 1.2 and not on 2.0

And it's not only mafia who is bugged on gog Galaxy 2.0. a lot of people comment on forums and it's been 3 years

I'm happy to see more people being able to enjoy their game in the best way, I sent a message to support, but I always get a generic response, this problem doesn't seem to persist anymore.
