I cant start this game, it always crash and i got a black screen thats the only to get out is to restarting my PC.

Edit: i found the cause of the problem, the game instantly crashes and freezes when i set to run in full screen, it only runs in windowed mode, what a garbage software.

I have the exact same issue. Never works full screen. It's a broken mess.

I got the same problem since 24H2 build of windows 11...

They broke fullscreen i think (same problem with the sequels and with some Ubisoft games, as you already know)

For now we can fix this only by disabling fullscreen optimizations from .exe properties

but i prefer a proper fix

I know that we can use also borderless mode, but we need also to hide start menu (and this cannot happen by default, you need to change the option first)

Maybe. But it might still be useful to file a ticket to GOG.

I haven't had any problems, nearly done with the game and have latest windows updated, and full screen works fine.

I'm also getting a black screen if I use fullscreen. Problem is borderless doesn't work properly either (window isn't centered and taskbar is shown). I am also using Windows 11 24H2 so that might have something to do with it.

Yes, desactive optimizations of fullscreen help me, but when i active fullscreen the game frezze. :(
