This stage is impassible due to the giant dumbat having spawned in where it's impossible to jump atop it.

I did see a post on Twitter about a related issue in world 2 and supposedly that issue has already been fixed. Is this the same issue and the fixed build just didn't get pushed to GoG?

Hi there sorry you're having problems. You need to be running version 1.5.5+ to resolve this issue. Please check to make sure gog galaxy updated your build.

The current version available on gog should be 1.5.6 which also includes DLAA support.

If you have any more issues or can't get up to date. Let me know.

Thanks

/ Kyle
That version was most definitely unavailable as an offline game installer (no clue about through Galaxy as I don't use it) as of the 27th when I found this issue. I see that 1.5.6.1 is now available. I will update and try again.

Yeah, I may have set something wrong when I initially put 1.5.5 out to fix this. Sorry about that, still trying to figure out a good workflow with gog
Now that I have the new version to install ... I cannot get it to actually run under Linux. The previous version I was running (1.5.3-rc5) installed and ran perfectly with Wine (lutris-7.2) without needing any special configuration. As of yet I cannot get version 1.5.6.1 to run at all. So far I have tested with the following Wine versions:

lutris-7.2
lutris-7.2-2
lutris-GE-Proton7-20

The only notable difference I have found that might be causing issues is that 1.5.6.1 uses a newer version of Visual C++ (2022 vs 2015).

Are you able to send a crash report, I can check it out right now. We've added DLSS support, is there something that need to be configured in order to make that go with wine?

DLSS support should be enabled by default through DXVK in Lutris (v0.5.4).

And I have submitted a crash report (though it doesn't show whether or not it was sent successfully).
I did get a crash report, however it's not super clear what's going on. It's just blowing up inside DX11 (or in this case wine).

Are you running with an Nvidia GPU? If so, what driver version are you on.

Additionally, in the Lumote saved game dir (not sure where that would be in wine, but on windows it should be in Users\YOU\Saved Games\Lumote) there's a file config.rob. Could you back it up and then delete it and run the game again. I'm curious if it just resolves itself?
From the NVIDIA X Server Settings:

Operating System: Linux-x68_64
NVIDIA Driver Version: 470.103.01

And I keep my save games backed up to an external location so when I installed the new version fresh it created a new config.rob file. I hadn't yet gotten to the point of trying to run the old config and saves yet.
Issue ended up being that I was running an outdated version of the NVIDIA drivers. Confirmed functional without needing any workarounds with NVIDIA driver version 470.129.06 and Wine version lutris-7.2.
