So, I put a couple hours into this game after buying it, and got a decent way through the plane unlocks. But when I booted it today for a couple quick playthoughs, all of my data was gone, and the game was starting as if I had never played before.

Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, have you found any way to fix it?

That's strange... I don't know what happened, but personally I have not had that problem at all.

My user data is in:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.LUFTRAUSERS
a.k.a.
%AppData%\.LUFTRAUSERS

Which contains two files, a binary file "save.0.0.96e" and a text file "input0.txt," which contains the input definitions.

Did you install the game in the Program Files folder?

That is one of the folders *never* to use for games installs. It may work, it may not - best to avoid that folder completely.
