Just starting LBA1.

Could anyone tell me whether this is the CD or floppy version (according to wikipedia the floppy version missed the animated scenes)? Also is this the DOS or Windows version, and are there any differences between the two?

It's the CD version.

LBA1 had no native Windows version AFAIK. (If you mean the fan-made LBAWin, the GOG version runs in DOSBox.)
