I always wonder what kind of game this is does anyone can tell me? what i understand ists an exploring and puzzle game but correct me if im wrong
It's more a story with a gaming element. Mostly you're just exploring a world, solving a few puzzles, and talking to characters. The thing that captures people is how inventive the world is. If anything the 'combat' is an annoying distraction involving a lot of careful timing and aiming in an isometric view (which is always hard). The game is about learning the world, meeting the inhabitants, and watching the story unfold.

I suspect that without the nostalgia element you'll find it hard to appreciate, but at the time the graphics were absolutely brilliant, and it really set the bar for action adventure games. If you choose to try it then let me know what you thought.

The simplist is by comparison: have you played Beyond Good and Evil? Imagine a older version of that without the racing elements. (and a little slower paced).

Alternatively, imagine a Zelda game, but half way between the 3d and 2d ones. (allthough this case, 3d and isometrix).

well i enjoyed that time of gaming and i noticed it is still fun today.
It is still as fun as the first time I played it, and the controls are still as annoying as they were back then XD Still, nostalgia tends to kick in whenever I start the game :)

Glad you're enjoying it. You begin to get used to the controls as you go on, but they are always a bit frustrating. I found LBA 2 to be much better in that regard, but it was perhaps because I'd got used to things from playing LBA1 just before.
