SedFlanbird: I've tried fiddling around with mixer sb and cd audio values but nothing seems to be working for me. (I apologize if I'm being bothersome, I really appreciate the help.)
ZFR: OK, did you install the game in Program Files, if so, see if you can find the conf file here, rather than in the game's directory
(this is for Windows 7 users, it might be different for 8 or 10)
c:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Little Big Adventure\dosboxLBA.conf.
If that's not the case (and it probably isn't). Try opening the setup program again and changing the music sound to Wave Blaster or "Wave Blaster on Sound Blaster 16 (MIDI)". See if the music is good enough then, (and if the volume can be controlled by opening the conf file)

Thanks a lot man, all the audio is balanced and the music sounds GREAT.
