Hello,

I just saw on Steam the release of this version, I Wish to know if on GoG we will have an update or if nothing will happen.
Thanks

If I'm correct it's being sold as separate version, it's not an update to existing classic LBA. So I doubt that it could be provided for current LBA owners as a free update, it will be probably being sold separately like Baldur's Gate EE etc.
I hope gog will update the game like they did for Duke Nukem 3D
aaand devs refuses to give steam keys for Groupees buyers, despite explicitly promising so:http://steamcommunity.com/app/397330/discussions/0/490123727974360774/?tscn=1445415057#p1

Not cool Dotemu, not cool...
Does it, like BG:EE, contain extra quests and stuff, or is it essentially just the same game made for modern machines, with better controls... etc?

i.e. is it worth playing if you finished the original?

ZFR: i.e. is it worth playing if you finished the original?
Tutorial (reaaally?!), zoom (not sure if similar to LBA2), auto-save (no need to backup saves, as it was a bit wonky in the original), mouse controls (no keyboard movement etc, whaaat?!) & able to change resolution apparently...

Doesn't look appealing enough.

*EDIT* They've also disabled the damage received when running into a wall; yet another casual poopery - but each for their own. Apparently Enchanced also has an original version, which you can choose (but what's the point if owning it already in here? :D )

Doesn't seem worth it though. It might be good for a newcomer who wants to give it a try, but not for a person who played the original already.
DotEmu have now decided to give Steam keys to all Groupees buyers:

I was hoping it will be like for Outcast. It's sad.
They really look like greedy people.
I still hope that GOG will eventually sell it. If there's one thing that prevented me from getting into this game, it was the insane difficulty (that auto-save system sounds worthwhile).
