Made the update and wound up getting rid of the VGA version of six (you just delete it's folder in the LSL directory of the GOG's folder, right? I tested the other games as I did so and they still work fine.). I was wondering what all the hullabalu was about and now I see. The change was VERY noticeable, and for the better! I plan on picking up 7 as well as System Shock 2 when the funds allow. (A bit off topic there, but I hope to see SS 1 in the near future, given how surprisingly fast you guys were with LSL SVGA 6 and 7.) Keep up the good work!

In the SVGA version of Larry 6 from GOG, there is no music during the "Stallions" show (part of the intro). Does someone have this problem? VGA version works fine, as well as SVGA version from my original CD.

Nope just went through the intro again on the SVGA version just to be sure and the music plays in the "Stallions" portion.

Problem solved, I found the source. In the config file (dosbox_L6.conf) in "sblaster" section, irq is set to 7. Should be 5. Also, the limo runs too fast in the beach part of the intro due to cycles value set to max. 20000 is enough.

Thanks, GOG!!! When you gave us LSL, I didn't think it could get any better! But then you outdid yourselves by adding the SVGA version of LSL6, and then giving us LSL7, the best of the Larrys!

But then greed never ceases. Some suggestions for the future, Freddie Pharkas, The Colonel's Bequest, The Daggar of Amman Ra, Shivers 1 & 2, Wing Commander 5, Strike Commander & Expansion Pack.
