1: Does this have both the DOS version and remake of one?
2: What's all this about SVGA?
I'm thinking of picking this up.

1. this has the original EGA and the later VGA remake of Larry 1 but not the new remake(the one Al Lowe had the kickstarter for)

2. the whole SVGA thing is because there are two(or three) versions of Larry 6 the regular one with no speech, the enhanced CD rom version with speech and a SVGA version the GOG version is just VGA with Speech/the CD rom version

Thank you kindly, DCT. Although I'm pretty sure you can't fault GOG for not having the upcoming HD remake, seeing as it's still in production. XD

Can't wait to get my freak on!
I think this is a very solid release!
Agreed. The only way to improve upon it would be if Larry 7 was included, or the "enhanced" CD Larry 6. Of course, GOG could always bundle both games along with a few extras (such as Larry's Casino and maybe even The Laffer Utilities) down the road.

actually the version of Larry 6 we got was the "enhanced" version it's just that GOG removed the SVGA files because they "couldn't get the SVGA version to work" even though the SGVA files wouldn't impair the ability to run lo-res VGA version in Scumm VM.

So if you want you could vote on the community wishlost to have them not only readd the SVGA files but stop removing "useless" files from their releases http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/put_back_the_hiressvga_files_in_larry_6stop_removing_useless_files_from_releases
