...game, I can't believe only four developers! The engine looks slick, although I do have some reservations on control (it looks to be real time, so I just hope its responsive enough to make all those turns, etc. to get into position easy).

I wish more developers would do these sort of classic game 'upgrades'. While I love the evolution of gaming and the direction its going in, it's nice to see games like this one (also looking forward to the X-com redo (both the 1st person shooter and the revised tact strat).

From what I've seen of the game-play footage, it appears that the designers streamlined the engine to make it simple to maneuver and execute actions in real-time. So, I think it will be responsive enough but I suspect the game to hand out sever punishments (especially on Hard) for strategic missteps.
Well, there wasn't any "visible" turns during fights in Eye of the Beholder but it was easy to play. If developers used similar system then on your place I wouldn't worry about that - it will be real-time but still there will be time to react.
