In case your guys want to have a look at it.

Also, it removes saved games properly, I've never been able to remove saved games for any single game from GOG with the official installers.

It's here, gog updated the installer ;)

I can also confirm that the small patch (6MB) provided directly by the Almost Human works well with also the previous gog.com version (1.1.4).

you can get it here:
http://grimrock.net/patch/grimrock_1_1_4_to_1_3_1_patch.exe
Something weird is going on here.
Yesterday when the "New" first appeared I downloaded the new installer and it had a filename of setup_legend_of_grimrock_1.0.0.14.exe.

Today I see that the version number has been changed so I re-downloaded and this new filename is setup_legend_of_grimrock_1.0.2.15.exe.

There was no notice of anything "New". Anybody know what's going on?

TheEnigmaticT: Our master build is now updated to 1.1.4. Please redownload the game from your shelf and have fun!

Firek: To update the game, you need to uninstall, then reinstall it. Choosing to keep your save files might be a good idea, too. ;)
This is necessary because our installers don't replace files by default, since many old games keep save games stashed in weird places and an "update" might end up wiping something valuable.
I just uninstalled and redownloaded and it's still version 1.3.1, what's going on?

I have no idea. Server gnomes? If you could submit a Support ticket, I'm sure Firek will get on it first thing tomorrow.
Can anyone tell me about the new patch (1.0.3), changelog, will it feck up save games etc.
I was also wondering about this new patch. No mention of it on the Legend of Grimrock website that I could find.
It's working better on my laptop. Kinda...

When I face north the game runs smooth no matter what I see. But other directions make the game run choppy. Especially when I face south. They mention some new king of rendering mode or sth but in options you don't have anything new.
Well I just purchased the game yesterday and downloaded from GOG today. Downloaded setup_legend_of_grimrock_1.0.2.15.exe and the patch patch_legend_of_grimrock_1.0.3.16.exe. Problem is when I install the patch it deletes grimrock.exe and doesn't replace it with anything!!

GOG really should test their installers better than this.

The initial install works but as pointed out above the game displays the version as 1.3.1 and not the 1.0.2.15 shown in the name of the installer. C'mon GOG sort this out.

Don't know about the other problems but you need to know that the version number in the installer name has nothing to do with the game version number. The installer version number is something that GOG uses internally for their own tracking. This is true for all GOG games.
