I just received gift code for Legend of Grimrock I can't seem to redeem it. Gift opens properly and I see it contains Legend of Grimrock but pressing redeem takes me to my games but does not add it to gameshelf and looking gift again indicates it's not redeemed (still has redeem button). This isn't normal is it? I mean I've redeemed games before and they got added to shelf just fine.

Did people who bought it get it added to their shelves?

The game code will probably not work until the game is released on April 11th.
Mine was added with a "Soon" tag ticked onto the game box. Can't download until release date. I say either wait until the game is officially out then try out the code, or contact GoG support to see if they can add it to your game shelf.
Mine was added (not from a code) and the extras are available now.
Same. Are we supposed to have a code? I thought the code was for Steam activation if you bought it through the grimrock.net website, and not GoG, but I could be wrong there.

As my friend had similar problem the answer is: it's GOG fault. You need to contact support to let them correct that for you.

You are getting code only if you are giver / receiver of a gift for / from someone else than you. If you are buying the game for yourself such code is not needed and game is auto-added to your account.

It should work now, actually. Venom told me this was fixed a few hours ago.

Confirmed few hours ago, thanks. What is this slow support people keep complaining about (2 fixes in less than 24 hours)? ;-p

To be completely honest, we can't be in every place at the same time and sometimes an unlucky ticket can slip through the cracks and get delayed. That's rare, though. :)
Can GoG.COM give steam code for Legend Of Grimrock? Or HumbleIndieBundle.com one?
I bought the game here at gog.com and I am forced to use window executable.
At the same time whole world can happily play on linux this awesome game!
(Linux version is availble on developer's site, linux version is available on steam and linux version is available on HumbleIndieBundle as well! Only here, at gog.com, linux is not available. WTF?!)

Somehow this game doesn't want to work properly on my box with wine emulator installed (other gog.com games usually do).
The game launches itself but whole screen is black. it seems to me that textures are missing (guessing).
I am using Ubuntu 12.10 on Ivy Bridge core i7 3770 (with default HD4000 built-in gfx).

Best Regards
Witold.

GOG was mostly Windows oriented (and this info was available for everyone at the moment of game purchase), recently they added Mac support for some games, so maybe in future they will add linux as well.
