What would be amazing is if someone makes a mod that gives the PC version all the music.

Toast_burner: yeah, totally, I wish it was possible, but since the music.dat only includes remixes, the ability to trigger the music dynamically might be removed from the pc version.

They should really sticky this thread. The soundtrack is a big part of the game.

This 1000 fold, if I can get into a mod like that I can see how to put the voice in as well (I have .wav files and can make .ogg's as I have ripped them out of the voice.dat file and they work flawless just not in the game) since it's a choppy, skippy mess.

so the pc version was cut music content wise? why? which versions are the full ones?

The port had it's problems. Full music is available in Playstation and Dreamcast versions. PC version looks better than PS1 version but worse than the Dreamcast one (which was a later port).

i would not say it has cut music, i have certainly heard most if not all the tracks at some point from the PS version (Although not played through the PC version the entire way through) the PC version just has 2 issues (As far as im aware which make it different)

in the PS version the tracks would change depending on what was happening, PC version *WAITS* until the track has finished playing to then change.
2. the PS version had area specific music where certain tracks play at specific moments, such as meeting kain at the pillars, it would change to Ozar Midrashim the moment the door closes, which it does not for the PC version, Same goes with boss fights, each clan leader had their own tracks, (or varient) PC version just defaults to melchiahs clan territory music (My guess is someone cut a few corners back in the day...)

if it was the same as the PS version, id love the PC version, alot, but since it is not i can be a bit disappointed :/
