Do any of you guys know where the savegame folder is? I want to trensfer them from my normal copy to the gog version.

savegame.her file.
Stored in game folder for XP or VirtualStore for Win 7.

just take it to your program folder -> GOG folder --> Soul Reaver Folder ->and paste it in there.

What System are you using?

I was asking SJ-M- :).
But it should be mentioned that for Win 7 placing the file in that folder will (most likely) not work. The location should be something like:
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver

Paradoks Thanks! It worked and now I can keep on playing without the game freezing if I do certain things. For the record I have Vista and it works the same for win7.

That is if you install the game to the default directory (C:\Program Files\GOG.com). So your game will be directed to VirtualStore.

Odd I just did the default install and removed my savgame.her from there and it removed the saves on boot, putting the savegame.her back into my location put the saves back. It worked for me. *shrug* oh well he got it with whatever method so not a problem. :)

Are you running the game as admin? That's the only explanation that comes to my mind.
