Is it by design that you don't get ANY ammunition/resources back when you die?

I am at the first tower and there is a cluster creating zombies and no ammunition.
Are there more police cars? I found only one and it is empty now.

Without ammunition it's game over now after reaching the first tower in the demo.

I don' even know what to do with all the ammo they're giving to me: just don't rush in front of the zombies, otherwise you'll have to do melee attacks and dodge to not loose health (or just do a little sprint, so their attack won't hit you and you'll consume less stamina).

Try searching in all the different crates, there are plenty of them!

Also, if you don't msg them directly, I don't think they will get the purple dot notification. In other words, they probably won't know you replied to their post.
