Hi all,

So I've almost completed the White Tower - but it appears I may have used all my mystical keys up and now it appears that I'm short one to get into the altar room to make the potion. Am I going to have to restart the game to get through this part now? Or is it possible I missed a key somewhere?

Also, I've seen things about using a hex editor to edit my save game (which I would be more than ok doing) - but is there any good tutorials on how to find your LOL save game from the GOG.com version and edit it to give me the key I need?

There are two "key" keys: one is a blue Mystic Key that opens the altar room, and can be found on the 3rd floor in a pickable chest (I forget which one). The other is the Ivory Key that can also be found on the 3rd level, somewhere near the entrance. This one opens the door to the basement, where you find the Crucible of Faith.

Are you sure you've looked everywhere? I had two extra keys with me when I was finished with the White Tower.

Wow. I missed one in the fireball room (with all the trigger plates). I could have swore I looked everywhere!

Thanks for the help though! Glad I don't have to get into the hex editor...

Hah hah I did just the exact same thing. The key was in the fireball room. Thanks for sharing.
