the skeleton key? no. It can be used later to get some useful items in the City of the Ancients, but it's not necessary to win.

also can you like, not post a million questions if you're not going to respond or have already figured it out yourself?

Okay thank you very much! And I'm sorry I've never played an RPG this hard before and am worried about making the game unbeatable
