Seeing I can't find anything about it anywhere on the internet, I've figured out to ask here:
I like the new soundtrack, but I also liked the one from the original game - does anybody know how to get it into the remake?
I've been looking into this as well. It should be perfectly possible as they've actually made the music officially moddable. The remake uses .ogg files as its music format though, so someone just needs to record the original music and save it in the right format with the right names.
I wish I could find the original game anywhere then, ripping the music wouldn't be a problem I am pretty sure. But I don't even remember if the game was freeware of paid :).

It was freeware. I have it on my computer, but it doesn't seem to like Windows 7 and runs really slowly (but at normal speed in an XP virtual machine running on Windows 7, very odd). Awesome, thanks!
