After going through the headache that is steam's version and returning that, I decided to give this one a shot. When I use compatibility settings it boots up perfectly fine and I'm able to bypass the initial error message and the game runs smooth except for one thing. While the characters are registered as being there (if you hover over where they theoretically are, you get the symbols to speak to people or assess your characters), the character models themselves are not loading. Everything else is there; the backgrounds, the sound, everything except you can't see the people. They're all invisible. Has anybody encountered this issue or have any suggestions? I'm running on Windows 11.
Er....which game are you playing? This forum encompasses three loosely related games: Betrayal at Krondor, Return to Krondor, and Betrayal at Antara.
Bump. Pretty sure this is Return to Krondor. Having the same problem on Windows 11.

Pretty sure this is actually an issue with certain integrated GPUs. Is that what you're using? When I upgraded to a GeForce GTX 1650 models appeared as normal.
