When I bought Betrayal at Krondor retail in 199X on CD-ROM, the CD was a hybrid CD with data and music. The game played music from the CD (in regular CD audio format). Does this GOG version have that high quality music?

Yes it does, and it also has the original midi music/sounds as well!
