I find driving using a keyboard to be a real pain. it's very unresponsive and if you hit D he swings the steering wheel so far to the right I'm driving off road and I have to stab the A button to try and correct. Is it best to keep W held down and use A and D to steer or release W when trying to steer?
Anyone else have problems with driving?

Hi,

Steering is easier when you release W or press S in some areas. Driving is easier with a controller because you can drive slower by not completely releasing the trigger. However, if you don't release the trigger at all, you will have the same problem when steering.

As a mouse&keyboard player myself, I understand that it can be a pain in the a** at first, but once you get used to it, it's not that different from driving with a controller.

Have you played any kind of racing games with keyboard? To me driving feels just fine, sorry bro. Maybe it's your problem though. :)

Hi,
will there be support for other controllers? I think so far only X-Box controller is supported.
I have a nice Logitech G25 wheel in front of me, but I had to use the keyboard to drive around.

Usually this would stop me from playing, especially since you spend quite some time driving around. But I already spend 4 and a half hours in-game and still want to go on. I guess this means it's a pretty good game :)

Well, I guess it is recognized as a controller, since the command-hints change accordingly. In the menu I am also able (at least to some degree) to move the spinner in the center by turning the wheel.
But I cannot control the car at all. Probably all it takes is options to redefine the axis and buttons?

Hmm, hard to say. I told our programmer about this, so if possible, we might add wheel support in upcoming updates.

It took me a bit to get the feel of it. The big thing is that it's more like driving a real car than it seems. You have to gradually use the accelerator, and use small corrections to keep the truck driving straight. Backing up became easier with practice as well.
