I explored the area and can't get past the invisible wall next to Doc's house leading to Rosie's (is it not implemented yet?) or the ice wall. I found one frozen person in their house and I think one in the woods (tho the dark-vision scene did not really make it clear what happened to them). I also found the kid's treasure (flare) so far. I also found out Hamilton's cottage but can't get there due to the landfill and ice wall.

What do I do now?

I couldn't get into Blais's shed; I figure I need triceps to pick the key from the hole but could not find them (double checked their house and the doc's house but no luck). I also haven't found the full code for the hidden safe (I got the name from the back of painting but can't find the digits).

Cheers and thanks! A walkthrough would be nice :)

Hello! A walkthrough at this point is not a priority because the game is in Early Access, so there might be some changes from time to time. Plus, we answer every post in the forums :P

You can't go through the yellow wall near the doctor's cottage because we blocked the area during Early Access (to avoid spoiling the story too much). Same goes for the Ice Wall near the Landslide.

To reach the key to the shed at the Blais' house, you need a wired magnet. If you already found a magnet, you can go in Blais' house to add a wire to it. Let me know if you can't find a magnet, I'll help you out.

For the safe code, you should already have the 3 digits somewhere. If they are not in your journal (there's a bug sometimes when the digits won't appear), you can find them in the documents section in the menu.

Approximately 30% of the game's story is available during Early Access. You can only find two out of 4 "iced" people. If you already explored every house and found everything that you didn't find yet, the next step is to wait for the full release.

Hope it helps, let me know if there's anything else ;)
Oh that's a bummer, I hoped I could complete it. But I understand spoilers - that's why I never wanted to do an Early Access since my two games were very story-driven as well. You have an interesting approach, I didn't think of just limiting the explorable area in Early Access. Are you having good experience with that so far? Reading posts and reviews, looks like people aren't too bothered by it :) Might consider it myself.

Are you planning a full story private test at some point?

RE wired magnet - thanks, I honestly would have never figured it out. The little icon on the key makes it look like forecpes and there is no other place I needed to combine items thus far (didn't even know it was possible). Probably something you could explain a bit more clearly.

On that, can you also add item names next to the little icons during pickup or use prompts? The icons are small and often generic, so often I'll pick up something and wonder what it is (especially since a lot of items are just boxes with different textures that you can't really see when they're in a drawer or cupboard).

Well, we thought it would be risky at first, but the fact that we already had sales before Early Access (through Kickstarter and pre-orders) helped us a lot. We just wanted to give our backers a glimpse of the experience to thank them for their early support and we received mostly positive reviews, which helped our sales afterwards.

The hard part is to find a good point to stop the story. It has to be interesting enough to get people to play it, but also keep the mystery so that players can't wait to unveil the rest of the story.

You have really good points for the icons. We are still working on the UI, so things might get clearer with future versions.

Thanks a lot for the feedback :)
No problem, thanks for being so active and responsive! Been enjoying the game :)
