junker154: A friend and me decided to play this game online. Unfortunately we do not really know how to set up a multiplayer game, where can I put in the ip adress to connecto to another server?
Could anyone give me some advice or a minor tutorial on how to set up a proper game using TCP/IP-connection. THanks in advance.
I could show you how to set it up, but unfortunately there's really no point because in every game you play, the two players will become out of sync. You will end up with different events happening on each screen, and probably both winning simultaneously. This bug has existed since the first release and has never been patched, which is quite sad.
However, there is a solution. There is a fan-made "mod" to the game called "KaM Remake" which works with multiplayer, over the internet too! I am one of the guys developing it. Although it is called a mod, we have actually rewritten the entire game engine over about 4 years. You'll notice lots of other improvements including: Windowed mode, higher resolutions, stereo sounds, bugs fixed, gameplay improved, etc.

The KaM Remake is still under development, in fact we are planning an update within a week. Not all the original features have been implemented yet, and the AI in singleplayer is not as smart, but we're constantly working on it.
