You used to be able to save some dollars by buying all of the King's Quest bundles together. Now, they seem to be running the full price of $29.97 which is comparatively too much, I think. Am I missing something, or did they really stop offering the bundle discount? If the latter, why would they do that?

It was a temporary price experiment. GOG is looking at the purchase data to see if it's something they want to try again or make a permanent fixture for the future.

Thread and post from TET: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/new_pricing_experiment/post435
Are you sure that was the reason for this particular discount? KQ is not in the list of games affected by that experiment according to the thread. It was not a price reduction of each individual KQ bundle - they remained at $9.99 each - rather, it was a discount for all 3 bundles together so they would total less than $29.97 at checkout. An incentive for getting them all at once.

The actual thread for the bundles is here: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/introducing_game_series_bundles/page6
Please keep in mind--this is something we're just testing now. If it turns out that this sort of deal is popular with you and that it makes sense for us, we'll keep the Game Series Bundles as a permanent site feature and work towards adding more of them to our offer. For the time being, you get the bundle deals on all the series mentioned below:
I meant to say that TET's comment applied to the various pricing experiments they did for both individual games and the bundle series.
I see now. That's too bad, I suppose. Well, thanks for the replies. :]
