I totally agree with everything said here. There's no way I want to play a remake unless I've already given the original a go. Like many here, I play these old games for either nosalgic or historic reasons (and enjoyment of course), neither of which are completely met by more modern remakes.

I'd be surprised if GOG didn't come up with the goods, or at least attempt to.

Signed, along with a promise to buy Quest for Glory the day it gets released here.
Agreed, and signed!

That's one of the only things holding me back from buying these collections. to be honest.
Thanks for the signatures, guys and gals, I appreciate it.

Definitely agree. I actually still own pretty much all of the original Sierra "collections" (except Space Quest), so it's largely moot for me, but it bothers me a lot that they're not all included. I want to replay the Space Quests eventually, but they are a much less attractive purchase from GOG without both versions of SQ1.
Petition signed. I think the collections are somewhat incomplete unless both the originals and the remakes are included. I know the Space Quest collection on Steam contains the SQ 1 remake, so it shouldn't be impossible. Also, where's the logic in including the originals, but not the remakes, for Space Quest and King's Quest, while Police Quest contains only the remake and not the original?
Agreed. I played both the original and VGA remakes of SQ1 back in the day. Would love for a reason to try/compare the others.
Signed. But this has come up some many times, I have no faith anymore.
Signed.

Agreed! I just bought KQ 1-8 on special. Having never played any KQ game before, I would really appreciate being able to compare the different versions of KQ1.
Signed
Agreed. No sense in not including both versions.

Well, you're probably already aware of this, but the fanmade VGA remake of KQ1 is largely based on Sierra's original SCI remake from 1990. And you can get it for free.
