The original song was included as a CD audio track. In theory ScummVM should be able to play this if it's included as track1.mp3, track1.ogg, or track1.flac. Unfortunately, GOG didn't include this in their package

I've actually been talking to their support people about this and they've asked me to send them a rip of the track (from my original CD of the game) so hopefully they'll be able to update the game with this.

In the meantime if you can get hold of a copy of the song you could copy the file into the game folder yourself with the right name and it should work.

No, it isn't as of about a month ago. I also found during my various searches that only the full voiced version will properly work to fill the entire length of the end credits if you're playing the voiced version, so if you much preferred the non-vocal midi version that played in some of the other versions you're SOL unless you change to the 'text only' version of the game right at the end

I have it working by ripping the song and naming it Track01.ogg. If you don't have the song ripped like this, it won't work
Weird bug. Does GOG know about this?

I've contacted their support about it and even sent them a copy of the track ripped off my original CD, so they definitely know about it. Not sure why they haven't implemented it yet though

yes, we must play with the versions on dosbox because author rights for music or subtitles in languages other than English do not exist, proof still freespace 2 free interplay currently and 1999 ...
I've gone and uploaded the missing song since GOG don't seem to have added it yet, just put this in your game folder and you should be sorted
