Any way of solving the weird and glitchy animation of the opening movie in King's Quest VI? I'm on Windows 7 x64. Tried different graphic modes to no avail.

Yes. I have a different driver that doesn't have this problem. It is included with my patch for the 2006 VU King's Quest Collection, but I don't have it available separately. Give me some time and I'll put it up someplace for you, later tonight. If GOG is using the 2006 collection for their source, they should have used my patch to prepare the games for GOG. It fixes all of the many problems that the 2006 VU collection has.

Just rename the extension to DRV and drop it into the game's folder.

I have the same problem with the intro movie of King's Quest 6. The patch listed on that page you linked doesn't work because it keeps looking for the King's Quest collection directory, but GOG has it organized differently in terms of folders. Did you post the .DRV file seperately somewhere else?
