I just turned it off and somehow it's like the game plays in 4:3 but in the right resolution (1080p). Anyone has this issue? It's distracting, I want to use the whole screen.

You might have to manually adjust your viewing display to stretch the game across if it isn't supported in menu. I just installed Armored Princess so I'm not sure if there's an option in game.
