With the 1.4 update, HD texture and sound packs were added to the store. Are they only meant for people playing at 4K resolution on some incredibly advanced home theater or should a common person with regular speakers playing at 1440p use them? Thank you in advance :)

my system's nothing too fancy, but the playthrough has been enhanced tenfold. it's so much better

It absolutely will look better, but just make sure your frame rate is still smooth. Frame is > than texture quality.
