0zzi: No DS4 support from using a search engine for your answer. Why don't you just invest in a XBOX one controller? With a micro USB cord which is cheaper than buying a play and charge kit to play with a controller. A majority of PC games that support controllers support Xbox controllers (specifically, the Xinput API). So Xbox controllers are basically plug-and-play.

Mordeth_Kai: 1. I already have a DS4 controller.
2. I hate microsoft.
3. I don't like Xbox controllers, just from a standpoint of comfort.
Since people are a bit out of the loop on this one, both steam and GoG have the necessary support for DS4, and it works flawlessly, any games that utilize it don't require additional software and often include both sets of button prompts. A lot of games that have gamepad support that have come out in the last 4 years or so have made use of this, but not all. This might be more common with japanese games though. Between microtransactions and politics most western AAA have lost my patronage.
Either way, thanks for the confirmation. I had done a few searches but only found confirmation of gamepad support.
Have you actually find a solution? The DS4 works fine in the steam version without any aditional software why it's not working here? I also own the xboxone controller and works fine but i prefer DS4.
