I was playing on easy difficulty and my reputation after some time turned to shit. I don't know why. I always choose the most honorable options. And I constantly attack my enemies. Once in awhile my clan runs out of food but I quickly get more food whenever that happens.

Can someone who is a pro at this game share with me some tips and also tell me how to keep my reputation close to King and not near the bottom?

Orlanth first virtue is generosity. Regularly give gifts (not big ones, giving about 10 cows value 2-3 times a year has a bigger effect than giving 50 in one time) or accept to help others for free and your reputation will usually rise and stay high (also refuse to help people the orlanthi despise, like the adventurers group, the pharaoh sorcerers, the trolls, dragonewts etc...things like giving informations to the sorcerers may seriously damage reputation I think).

The usually is because it happens that you are victim of bad gossip from a rival clan (an event with no choice saying clan X accused you of something and other clans believed them) and just lose more reputation than you gain for some years despite making gifts, nothing to do then except waiting for the effect to disappear. The game is not really hard but mostly random and there's always a possibility of bad luck.

I usually help people for free but rarely send gifts to other clans. In the future, I will send out more gifts.
