Does chosing Pella's Pot provide other advantages than the extremely temporal advantage of starting with 15 instead crafters? The max doesn't seem to change, neither the number of allocatable crosses. How can you raise those crosses btw?! Is picking all the exotic goods for crafting ok even if that means no plain and fancy production?! Or is it safest to keep one of both?! Or did I miss the menu where you can check demand? Thanks!

The manual says “support more crafters than usual” which means you can thus make more goods each year. This isn’t the same as the Craft points that the 1.x dialog had. As I recall, it was basically a way to specify the level of risk you were willing to take.

Ah, so the production per crafter is higher! didn't notice that when trying, but didn't try extensively. But if it is something like 10+% that would be a very nice advantage. I love crafters and trade routes. Maybe I should restart again... ;) Thanks!

Another question: I already read the suggestion to build a great temple of Issaries (with the Silvertongue artifact) asap.
It is indeed great advice, but I have a question about the temple of my main deity. Does you main deity care if another temple is bigger than his/her one? If so, how does he/she punish you for that?!

I didn’t say production/crafter. More crafters/clan possible is how I interpret that.

No, you are not penalized for building temples.
