So, I've just started on this, and I'm doing the initial training missions. However, I have a problem. The game is telling me to press M to go to the orbit map, and click on some icons there. The problem is, pressing M just gives me a view of empty space. No spaceship, no planet, no orbit, no icons, no nothing.

Any ideas?

I just made the test by starting the "orbit" training (I imagine it's the one you're playing), and everything looks normal on my install : I have orbits, planets, icons, the thumbnail for the navball, I can zoom out to see the entire system, I can plan maneuver nodes....

Hmm, guess I should try reinstalling and see if that helps.

It was the one before that actually, "flight basics" I think it's called. Reinstalling wasn't necessary though. Restarting the game was enough. The next time I tried, it worked.

Thanks. I've been playing science career mode for a bit now, and I must say the game seems quite buggy. Nothing game breaking, but lots of little things glitch out regularly.
