Do you have NVidia or AMD Card?

If so - since you can't do it in-game, why not force it via your Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Control Panel to override the in-game settings for K&L: DM?

Another idea - if you need to, you could copy & paste DGVoodoo2 into the game-folder; you could always stick that in there and force Antisotrophy and/or MSAA under the DirectX Section.

I managed to get Anisotropy 16 working by adding that to the main.ini file manually. However the option in the video settings still remains grayed out and can't be changed from there to any other value.

Can you help with a step by step?

1. Install the game
2. Launch the game once and change all the settings you want to change (graphics, controls etc.)
3. Go to "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\kaneandlynch" and open main.ini with a text editor
4. Add the following two lines:

Anisotropy 16
Antialias 8

5. Save the file and set it to read only
6. Launch the game and have fun

Yes it will always be like that but instead of showing you that Anisotropy is set to off it will show "x16" and it works in-game.

Sorry, the main menu is not say it's set to X16 and still says "disabled".

You have to put the main.ini file into the correct folder. The correct path is listed in the step by step post I made earlier.
