I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about if/when the other games would be on gog.com. I have turbo and Legacy of time on CD, but it would be cool to get a gog version of them.
I have no clue how they could get Turbo to work since if I recall it's a 16 bit application, but if they somehow manage to do it, they are Gods among men.

As for Journeyman 3, I suppose it's just a matter of finding the rights and so forth.
I keep hearing this but my copy of Turbo works fine on XP and 7 with compatability mode. I don't know if mine has a patch or something.

If you're running a 32 bit operating system it'll run fine. If it's 64 bit however... not so much.
Pegasus Prime never got made for Windows, did it?

Nope. People have been known to get it running through emulators, though. I have a copy being shipped to me and am attempting to do this.

Good luck, it was sweet game 12 or 13 years ago, and definitely felt more like Buried in Time's predecessor ... even though it came out later.
Got it working well. Haven't played much but great game! It does feel a lot like Buried in Time!

Is it easy enough to set up that a GOG version of Pegasus Prime could conceivably be put together? I'm still hoping for the chance to play a better version of the original game.
At this point, I think so. The only issue is I don't think they could distribute a copy of Mac Os 9.0.4. That would be the only issue. Everything else (besides the game) is free and I think once its running you can copy the files to another machine and it will run. I think.
Maybe the Presto guys can put a Windows executable together, I don't know, I just really want to play Pegasus Prime.

If you have a 32-bit Windows XP computer, a copy of Mac OS 9, and a copy of Pegasus Prime, there's a tutorial on youtube that makes it very simple and walks you through it. (Although if you have anything before Mac os 9.0.4 you need to download the free updater from Apple's website.) You just need to have a basic understanding of computers and that video.
BobBlusoe, where did you purchase Pegasus Prime? Just on Ebay, or is there a specific place that has stockpiled copies? Your help would be greatly appreciated, as I am keen on trying it out. I highly doubt it would ever appear on GOG, since it would require jumping through too many hoops to get it running on a Windows PC from just a smooth packable executable.

As for the original version, Turbo, it is certainly more possible to see it on GOG, though something would need to be done about the 64bit incompatibility. I believe specific workarounds have been found for other games here though, for those that were originally 16-bit applications.

I bought it on Ebay for $40.00 including shipping. It came unopened in a very nice old fashioned big box. The game discs themselves were in two standard two-cd jewel cases.

Here's the link:

#3 is most likely in the hands of either Ubisoft or these guys:

I have fond memories of playing #3, came free with a computer years and years ago (back in the day when computers came with software bundled with them, instead of pre-installed), so I started to try and run the game down..

If Ubisoft holds the rights to 3 (which seems more likely), I don't see any reason we wouldn't be able to get it, other than maybe GOG not seeing enough of a demand for it to make it worth pursuing the distribution rights.

It'd certainly be an instabuy for me. Need to get #2 sometime, keep hoping it'll go on sale though >.>
