Hi just Wondering if anyone's figure out a way to get this game to run in 1080p resolution or a least a higher one than whats there because the highest it goes is 640x480 and it's so small I can't see what i'm doing.

I have it fullscreen... maybe check the options... but definitely I don't have it windowed.
The JJ2+ add-on added support for 800x600 resolution. The game has not been coded to work with higher resolutions and will most likely crash when trying anything above 800x600.
Left Alt + Enter ?
The issue i'm having is that the game only shows 640x480, which is 4:3 and stretched in fullscreen.
I've read that JJ2+ added other resolutions including 16:9 but i'm not seeing them.
You guys do realize that even if it was possible to set 1080p as a resolution, the way this game is rendered it would be too small to see what's going on. Jazz would look like an ant.

Specifically i'm looking to set the game at 800x450, which is apparently possible thanks to JJ2+, i just don't know how.
Hi cikame,
You can go into the "Video" settings and find the resolution setting there. You have to enter the resolution selection and scroll up (press the up arrow). Not entirely logical, but worked for me. :)

Your GPU needs to allow it and since it's not a common resolution you need to add it as a custom resolution in your GPU driver settings, then JJ2+ should list it.

You also need to make sure your GPU does scaling and not your display (since your display might refuse an uncommon resolution like that).

Though if you're not even seeing 800x600 it sounds like JJ2+ is installed incorrectly.

That's because you're supposed to use Right Alt + Enter, not Left Alt.

In theory that's possible, but the way Jazz 2 detects possible resolutions is a bit weird. The Plus team might work on that at some point in future, but for now, your best best is 800x600.
Or set it to 720x480 and you'll have smaller black bars on the sides of your screen (provided you use scaling on your GPU, or you have a good monitor that will scale resolutions properly and keep aspect ratio). Anyway, that's the resolution that will give you the widest aspect ratio, maximizing the space on a widescreen display.

720x480 is very likely to be misinterpreted by a lot of monitor scalers. It's a common 4:3 and 16:9 resolution with non-square pixels.

A PC monitor shouldn't do that (it's a TV resolution), but I would say the chances of it happening are enough to say "just use GPU scaling".

I'd play in a window to maintain the aspect ratio but 800x600 is just too small, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get it displaying properly on a widescreen monitor, i'd play with black bars either side of the screen but it's not an option... despite decades of 4:3 television, movie and game productions we decided monitors shouldn't support that natively :S.
