Restarting on novice. Too hard at experienced. :(
hh :) take it easy.
regarding suplies - they are in airport sector (that one with helicopter), there is warehouse little to the left from the helicopter and inside two crates, one nearer to entrance is crate where supplies from bobby ray can be found. And you will receive e-mail when shipment arrives.
Ira isn't best trainter, but she is one of free mercs, so you can use her as mule or trainer and paid mercs can fight.
Next thing, free all three sectors of this city, it will give you time to train militia in fist sector of city, and dont forget to let your mercs in good defensive positions (roofs, windows, heavy covered places)
I see what you mean. Have IRA train while I do battles with the others. Very good tip. I switched to novice and even that is a major challenge. This game is intense and hard, which makes the satisifaction of winning a battle greatly rewarding.
The manual infers that you can hold the right mouse button down before shooting and it makes the aim better -- or did I read that wrong? It doesn't seem to make a difference.

by tapping RMB you can use more action points to shoot, the more points you use, the more accurate you are (that red circle will be smaller and number in it means AP's used), and try not to target head, at least if you are not quite near.
Are there any time limits in the game? What I did was just left IRA and myself in the mine, trained massive miliita (for many days) and now they are even patrolling the sector. Is that a valid strategy?
i am not sure, but after some time, deidranna starts to act more agressive and starts to send mobile patrols
Strange. I have skyrider fly his helicopter to a certain spot and I don't see the helicopter anywhere. Now he's asking me for money. How do I pay skyrider?
Thank you. :)
Edit, n/m figured it out. You have to make your team join vehicle - helicopter. :)

Uh oh, some mercs are refusing to be hired by me because of bad leadership. Is there anyway to check my reputation and rebuild it?
It might also be because either you've suffered a high casualty rate or you've been signing and firing mercs on a regular basis.
Ah, yah, you're right. I have been firing some. :)
Can the reputation be restored through success?

Yes. A good run of successful missions will help. Also, try and keep the same team intact for awhile if possible. Success and stability seem to be the two things that really affect your rep.
Any suggestions on how to kill mine creatures? All my people keep dying.
Thank you. :)
Edit: I feel bad but I sorta used the game mechanics against the game itself. I would kill a couple of creatures, exit that sublevel (stay near exit) re-enter, rinse repeat. :|

you mean wanamingos ? lots of HP ammo in full auto mode :)
For me the best strategy for start was just to hire only one additional merc - one of the really goods ones from AIM. Then you shoudln't waste much time - the problem is that the mines will yield less in the course of time. So if you try to fortify in Dressen for too long you won't have money to pay your mercs in some time. Later in the game I had one attack team (usually just 3-4 Mercs... when I had too much money then full team) and few additional support teams which trained milita, did the healing or did logistics job (bringing new ammo, selling things that I didnt want). Works fine even for the highest difficulty :-)
Can't even start the game, when I get to the start new scenario and go through the brief, I have no mercenaries to use, just blank boxes?
