Can't say I've seen that series, but honestly I'm not surprised.
TV programs can and will use music from pretty much every source if whoever makes them thinks it's appropriate. I've heard music from videogames I played over the years being used on the radio and in certain documentaries.

Maybe both JA and the program used stock music, rather than creating their own.

I thought no one had replied to this thread so forgot about it.

But it was just weird because there I was watching this serious crime docu and all I could think of was Jagged Alliance when I heard the music.

I always thought `serious` programs kept away from game music, but then again gaming music (even 10 years old) is good enough to use I suppose and most people (except us gamers) won`t notice.
