Are there any chances, that JA2: Wildfire to be offered on the GOG?
I second that

PLEASE. Anything Jagged Alliance would be great. This whole series was a very fun game that I spent a LOT of time playing...

I second that. Thankfully, Strategy First is now added to gog.com!! Though I really hope Wildfire will be added as well, as it's the only JA game I don't own...
isn't wildfire really just a mod of JA2 making the weapons and such 'more realistic?'
Or am I remembering wrong?

Ah actually I am remembering right, I didn't realize they released it as an actual product. It'd be cool to have a JA2/wildfire combo so that those of us that don't want to pay twice for the same game (With modifications) won't have to.

hmmm, i guess i never looked at it that closely, but you're right that wildfire is essentially a modified JA2. still, being released as a separate product (with a price!) is the barrier that i think brings it from mod to game; much the same as X-COM: TFTD is a more than just a mod of UFO defense.
well with Strategy First aboard, I think we will see JA and JA2 up and hopefully wildfire ;) I bought JA2 at one point, but lost one of the disks and was never able to complete it. Can't wait to have it again; not many tactical games like it out there.
+1 Need to play Jagged alliance 2 again !
Yes, please. I'm waiting for JA 2. I'd rather purchase it here and support GOG. :)

Yep me too ! And what's about Arcanum ?
Wildfire originally started as a free mod developed by someone with an alias called Wildfre.
Later it was made official, but only sold in the U.S. and Canada.
The first official version was very buggy and crashed regularly.
Nowadays there are 2 official versions of Wildfire, V5 and V6.
V5 is the buggy one, I'm not sure if it's still being sold.
V6 has most if not all bugs fixed and is being sold by Zuxxez (not sure what the policy on competitiors is here, so no URL) and perhaps others.
Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagged_Alliance_series for more information.
