Why GOG version is missing achievements? Apparently this isn't a case in Steam version. With this and planned Steam Workshop function, I would have bought it on Gaben platform, now it's too late xd

The Steam achievements are broken though, they do count but don't show up in your client right now.

Yeah, but from 3D Realms Discord I know, that on Steam they are still tracked, so after update they will show up. On Gog page of Ion Fury achievements aren't even listed as a feature.

It's a full game and it's very good actually. I don't care about achievements, I buy games to play them :)

I agree that game is very good, I'm just asking why in the same price I get less features than on other platform :v I like achievements, they are nice addition, and probably if I know they are missing, I would go Steam option, becouse I use both platforms and I want best experience.

I'm quite confused: Galaxy has updated the game. It now says that it's on version 1.0, released 20 hours ago, but when I run it, it's still called Ion Maiden in the game, says it's Preview Campaign 4.1.

Do other people have the full game?

(Using Galaxy 2.0 if it makes a difference.)

EDIT: Ok, suddenly Galaxy says "Updating" and then it downloaded 89 MB. Now the game is the full game. But the version selector in Galaxy still says 1.0, updated 20 hours ago. Something is weird.

There's definitely something wrong. I can download the full game without any problems with 1.2 Galaxy, but the game itself doesn't show on my profile page, only "Ion Fury - DEMO" is there.

I don't use Galaxy, but if you're talking about your GOG profile page on this site, the DEMO and full version should be different. I have the DEMO, which the image still shows Ion Maiden, Ion Fury(the full game), and Bombshell right next to each other. My games are sorted by order of purchase, so it may be in a different place for you.

In any case I also did not get any update notice and only came here after starting Steam and seeing the full release on the main store page. In my Ion Maiden download it does say 1.0, but I'm installing now and have to see what it says in-game....

Same here (for everyone i guess).
When i playin the game its still shows im in "Unreleased game" on profile page and for friends.
Hours milestones also not show up on activity feed...
Feels like Galaxy integration is not full, only partial or something... -_-

Ok, this may just be a Galaxy thing then, I just installed to a different directory than my previous Beta version was in, and started up. On the Title screen it definitely says: "1.0 Full Release".

And I still keep saying "Ion Maiden", can't help it. :P

That's your prerogative if that's how you see and feel about it. Archievements would be nice but I can live without them and rather have no archievements and no DRM than archievements and DRM (Steam client is a form of DRM). But like I said you have your preferences like many others and so do I like many others :)
