Yep, whatever. Their entire attitude on this just stinks. So many people want to play their game yet they're just silent on it. That's the part that pisses me off so much. Go badger them in their Discord and get some nebulous response. Seriously, would any of you be that bummed if someone had just come here in the first place and said something along the lines of, "Sorry guys, we're still working on the GOG release. We hope to have it out by the end of this month but no promise yadda yadda." I mean maybe some frustration, because it seems like a really strange business move to *not* release this on Steam and GOG simultaneously, but at least you know that it's coming, that they didn't forget this entire platform. The Discord responses are not great. One was along the lines of "I think this person did something last night." Lol. At this point I don't even want to support them on this, and won't. Maybe that's overkill, but I hate that they haven't played this straight and we're still in the same boat as day one.
For me this dlc is the last product i would buy from them . They f. up too much in recent years cause they aren't people that create 3d realms. Beginning
With Bomshell (Bottom 100 List for me) and then only lies after lies and stupid management from the CEO. They aren't friendly with devs that helped them as a publisher and they aren't friendly with customers . For example Forgive me Father 2 (Different Studio ecc) made it on steam and gog why? Because of course 3D realms want money and regret gog.com after maybe the commercial success. CULTIC same story like Overkill,Amid Evil (diff studio ecc)
Reason is money whe they get them they will put the real face.

3D Realms for sure with this lackluster projects ecc for me it's a red flag and they not deserve money for they're overpriced redesigned AAA .

Quite honestly, while this could very well be some GOG-side fault, Ion Fury is the only game that does this. Any other game doesn't have this issue.
This is from one of the devs once again over in the 3D Realms Discord server.

*Posted yesterday*

"GOG build" was basically prepared quite early on but some showstopper bugs bumped the steam version a bit. -- This was the "end of week" initial prediction. (This is basically identical to steam but lacks the token effort steam dll integration) gog == 3drstore == whateverelse

Then major issues with photomode and some medium-level achievement issues were fixed and required 2-3 rounds of testing. Including engine rendering issues that had to be fixed due to some really obscure regressions. I think this bumped the testing/etc.. by another week

Right now as far as I understand, there is a stable version internally available for the past few days that is waiting to be pushed but issues with devportal account has resulted in 12-24h turnounds for issue-response communication likely due to timezones.

Another setback was that steam achievement API was broken recently and the GOG-Steam achievement wrapper no longer functions due to this.

From what I understand, depots/etc.. have been setup for the main game & DLC, this is something we also had to read documentation from and learn from scratch as we never worked with GOGs stuff before (previously we just sent a ready packaged game).

I've suggested internally that the "galaxy method" is skipped for now and hopefully we can get the usual "extract & run zip" quicker through.

Keep in mind that I've been mostly offline since the 2nd and I've followed things from the side occasionally."

Arkagon: and the GOG-Steam achievement wrapper no longer functions due to this.
I wonder whether that implies they've actually been trying to add Galaxy achievements at last. I hadn't heard anything else to suggest that.

This was back on the 6th of October when first week had passed after the comment of it coming "Later this week"

I don't give a damn about achievements, I want to play this game.
(Almost) Welcome to the 3rd week without the game!...*Sigh* Yeah, 3D REALMS ain't the same anymore ..
Maybe they're hoping people will get fed up enough to buy the game a second time on steam in addition to the DLC?

I have self control so I'll be waiting for a sale and a hopefully bug free version.
Money isn't an issue for me it's the principal. Never reward laziness.

They literally aren't. It's an entirely different company ran by entirely different people. 3D Realms of the 90s was just a marketing label used by Apogee. 3D Realms now is run by a bunch of people who weren't creative enough to come up with their own name.
Yeah guys stop defending them they only say lies

It started to be somewhat funny :D
Three weeks have passed and it's a fucking disgrace, is what it is. This has nothing to do with bugs or Galaxy, I'm not buying any of it, not for a second.

This is either Voidpoint not giving a shit about GOG customers, or the no-DRM issue, or both. Truth be told, I'm really pissed and sorry that I bought Ion Fury on GOG :(
If i somehow sorted early about Fredrick and this new 3d realms probably after 3d realms anthology surely i wouldn't bought anyhing after that sadly it didn't happen but i can do something today . Remove this game from my wishlist and ignore on steam every product this company put...
