FTL has a MacOS version, so I assumed ItB would too. At the moment, there's only a Windows version. Any plans?

Yeah, I'm going to wait to buy it until there's a Mac version.
Their explanation is that they are too small a studio to easily support a multiplatform release, and that doing so with FTL was not an experience they wanted to repeat. Understandable.
If eventually it looks like there isn't going to be a Mac version, you can always run the Windows one out of a wineskin.

I can confirm it works via wineskin on my mac. I have about an hour in it so far using a wineskin wrapper and its so far only had minor problems with resizing the window to fullscreen, but otherwise everything is working correctly.

How did you download Into The Breach onto your mac to begin with? Original installer and GOG Galaxy just say incompatible.
