I realize there are challenges to getting i76 working well, but let's forget about that for a minute.

I'm new to the game, having just picked it up on sale. Where should I start? Is Nitro more an add-on, or more a sequel? Should I play through regular i76 and then play through Nitro, or can I play regular i76 through Nitro?

Just asking, because I have no idea.

Thanks!

Nitro is an add-on (kind of). FOR SURE go regular I76, THEN Nitro. Yes the graphics are dated but it's still a great game.

Okay thanks! That's what I thought.

ATM I've got them running at 1920x1200 in 3Dfx mode, except they crash whenever a mission ends. Doh!

Still having fun with the game though. I can see why people like it.

I'm going to try replacing some of the music with some classic 1970s hits.
