Heavy spoilers so please only read on if you've finished Act 2 or at least the part regarding Chalice of Metamorphosis.

First riddle: I'm no vampire but blood I do drink; I'll frobid you all though law I'm not; Even if you love me nothing you will gain; But if you betray me I'll give you much pain. Who am I?

Answer is wife but what the hell?! How is that related to drinking blood but isn't a vampire and what does this mean "even if you love me nothing you will gain."

Well the main priest ( the one who put all those riddles up in the first place) was a bit of misogynist, that's all ;)

Lighten up, Swedish guy. It's a joke based on the preconception, that a wife will always turn your life into living hell.

Yeah, I assumed it was something like that but it was so confusing when it was related to sucking blood.

What about the part about love and gain nothing? Please explain.

Again, misogynist priest is misogynist ;)

A wife:
1. Drinks blood- so probably takes your money, soul, whatever.
2. Forbids all- yeah, you have no freedom in a marriage.
3. Nothing you will gain- you work and work and all you get is insults and the like. You will be used and abused :)
4. If you betray me - divorce and all that..

Basicaly everything that "Married With Children" taught us about marriage ;)
