All right, I'm trying to compile a little list of questions and answers to get you trough the game. Whenever someone PMs me, I'll post it here with the appropriate solution if we can come up with any, also ask stuff in here and I will edit the OP to reflect new findings. If you find anything wrong in here, let me know. Anyway, here we go:

ACT I (Walktrough)
Where do i find the Herbalist woman tome? been looking for Orcs to see if they have it but havent had much luck.
From the orcs outside the Iron Mine [Right-ish side of the map]. Be careful of the shaman as he casts some fairly hateful spells.
Thank you NovaStalker.

Where does the portal from Orc camp lead to?
You'll find more such portals scattered on 'top' floors or above large dungeos. They're exit portals from the bottom levels of them, and can't be used from the surface.

How do I get trough the locked door on the first level of Iron Mines?
This is a complete map of the first floor. Look at it - see the stairs down in the lower right corner? Get down there. You can find a key on that floor that unlocks a locked door on it and behind those, there's another key that finally gets you trough the door you mention. Thak Cervic for details.

There's a collapsed bridge on the second level of Iron Mines. How do I get past?
You can either levitate past the chasm if you have the required spell - if not, really, get it, it'll get you past those bloody lava / acid pits.

If you don't have the levitation spell, look at this map:
http://postimage.org/image/udo781fpd/
See the secret passage? You need to pixel-hunt for the secret door, but when you find it, you can just go around the chasm.

How the FUCK do I kill Herbertius? He keeps regenerating! I'M ANGRY!
After he regenerates, go ask the witch about him. If you still don't know what to do, continue reading.
-------------------------------
This is one of the most annoying things EVER. To kill him, you need to destroy his heart. His heart is located in a FUCKING SECRET TILE ON THE FLOOR. I think it's also trapped for good measure. Anyway, it's to the right - ish side of the room, your cursor should change when you hover over it. When you find it, grab the heart, right-click it, and press the destroy button. The bastard won't regenerate anymore. Thanks sadbloke.

GENERAL

Can't open locked door. What do I do?
Try attacking it. If you see it's getting damaged by your attacks, it means you'll bash it eventually - takes forever on lower levels, but it works. This also lets you get around traps if you choose to attack at distance using bow or spells.

I'm low level and keep dying, what do I do?
Try out new locations, find monsters you're able to kill, grind. For instance, I found it really easy to kill zombies in graveyards due to their speed, and they give you a fair bit of experience.

It's all too fast! Can I pause the game and issue orders?
Yeah, you can. Hit pause/break key. In this pause mode, you can shuffle weapons, drink potions, or issue a single command - like move order, casting a spell or marking an enemy for attack. Orders don't stack, only the last one gets executed. Thanks Ravenvolf!

Why do I need to keep holding down alt button!?
You don't. F4 toggles the item display. Thank you, haed.

Magic bawxes. What do they do?
Right-click them in your inventory, click the button to destroy them, close inventory and wait. If you want a surprise ruined, read on.
-------------------------------
A djinji appears. You can always ask him to heal you - he'll heal you, rid you of all negative effects, and offer you another thing, so you should always do that - and then you can choose to:
- tell him to get you out. He'll open the world map for you and you can pick where you want to get teleported.
- tell him to help you. He's VERY powerful, but you get no experience for the monsters he kills.
- use him as a vendor
- dismiss him. When you do that, you get a reward anyway.

Cheats
General console commands
Adding lost quest items Thank you, lothar69.

You know you can ask in here as well, just so it gets bumped once in a while :D
Can you give any specific advice on builds? Or equipment/spells/abilities you should get either as a class or in general.

I will leave an answer to this question to proper powergamers, when they figure out their shit. At any rate, go with what seems right and ignore the rest: Are you rogue? Rise your dexterity (agility? dunno what the translation is) and from time to time speed. A few points into constitution won't hurt, but they won't save you either.

Paladin? Strength and constitution. A point or two into agixterity won't hurt, but it's hardly a priority.

Priest? Vast majority to intelligence, perhaps speed so you can outrun most enemies, and a few points into constitution.

As for spells, everyone should get the one with levitation. Inquisitional magic's first spell identifies everything in your inventory with no chance of failure, which renders indentify skill useless. Aaand skills, were ... Combat skills are important to reduce the general frustration of the game, but do note that actually getting a higher mastery level requires certain experience level, so ... Well, distribute your points accordingly - while rising the skill does provide passive bonuses even above mastery, it's not worth it if you've got other skills that you find interesting.
Does intelligence affect dialog or magic and mana only?

sidzanuff: Does intelligence affect dialog or magic and mana only?
Dialogue is largely unaffected by skills or stats, only persuation of Rogue breaks this rule. So ... No, not really.
Thanks for this Q&A Fenixp!

I've got one:

How the hell could I desactivate the automatic potion consumption of my followers?

The dog follower I took keeps using my health/stamina potions during the fights... and it's litterally driving me nuts.

It should be bound to 'D' by default, but... Let him drink away unless you have healing magic. Alternatively, you -can- pausing the game and drag a potion on his portrait.

Love that word! Nicely done.

+1 for taking the time to draw up a FAQ as well.

Thanks! I didn't see that.

Seeing the dog drinking all my "miraculous" health potions while he still had a decent amount of hp was really infuriating.

The stairs you mention in the Iron Mine are behind a locked door that doesn't take bash damage. Any ideas?

Herbertius seems to behind one of those big red portcullises. I can't seem to open it or inflict damage on it. Can someone tell me how to get it open?

In the south west corner of the floor there is a switch to open it
